July in Review
Total loss for the month of July: 9.8lbs! I hit the 270's!!! I never though that I'd be happy seeing that number but it's better than the 280's.
Really it's more than that, because I gained in the being of the month, but I loss 9.8 "new" pounds this month. My goal for the month of August is 10lbs.
Happy Losing!

Starting yet again!
So I feel off the wagon, yet again. Why does this always happen to me? That's the question I have been seriously asking myself lately, but I still haven't found an answer yet. I want this so bad, so that's not the problem. Hopefully, this is the last time that I have to start over. I started again on Saturday morning @ 287.7lbs and this morning I weighed in @280lbs. I'm eating whole foods, and focusing on protein. And it's working. 7.7lbs gone forever, this time.

Ground Turkey
My lunch today Seed & Veggie Turkey Burger w/Asparagus

My Seed & Veggie Burger recipe:
1lb Ground Turkey
1/2 cup dice carrots
1/2 cup chopped spinach
1/4 cup unsalted sunflower seeds
Mix the seeds and veggies with the turkey and pan fry. I seasoned mine with garlic, salt and pepper. And it was delicious.

What a weekend!
Happy Birthday America!!! I hope that you all had a great 4th of July. Between the Fireworks and BBQ, rainy Midwest style, we shampooed the whole house, painted the kids room and did touch up paint thought the rest of the house. I'm wiped out.
I weighted in on Friday...up 1lb. I wasn't surprised. I was so excited to start this challenge but Day 1 came I and just flopped. For some reason my mind equates weight loss challenges with eating. Weight loss really is more than just food and exercise.
